INSTRUCTIONS FOR LISTING OF CASES IN THE WEEKLY Hon'ble the Chief Justice has been
pleased to permit to publish Weekly
Cause List and Daily Cause List as
per Rules of High Court of Chhattisgarh Rules, 2007, w.e.f.
25th of February, 2013. INSTRUCTIONS FOR WEEKLY CAUSE LIST 1] For
every week, Weekly Cause List shall be published on Wednesday up to 2] Not
reach and pass over cases of Weekly Cause List along with new cases shall be
listed in the week next to the following week. 3] Similarly,
if Court has ordered to list the particular case in the next Weekly Cause List,
then the case shall be listed in the week next to the following week. 4] If
in any week Wednesday is holiday, then Weekly Cause List of that week shall be
published on Tuesday up to 5] If
during any day, Court has given fixed date for final hearing, then that
particular case(s) will be listed in the Weekly Cause List, in which that day
falls. INSTRUCTIONS FOR
DAILY CAUSE LIST 1] The Daily Cause List
shall be published in following manner:-
2] Not
reach or pass over cases of daily cause list of particular day shall be listed
on day after tomorrow. 4] Counsel
seeking adjustment should make alternate arrangement with respect to old case
pending up to year 2003. 5] As
per Rule 152 of Chhattisgarh High Court Rules, 2007, a supplementary list may
be published for urgent matters as per directions of the Hon’ble Benches.
Serial number in the supplementary cause list shall be fed after the serial
number of Daily Cause List. 6] Lawyers
are requested to file application for adjustments at least three working days
in advance, for the day of adjustment. 7] Adjustment
shall not be applied in Court’s order cases. 8] If
any Lawyer is not in adjustment for whole week, his case will be taken on the
date, in which he is not in adjustment. 9] After
publication of weekly cause list, if the Court has given fixed date for final
hearing, then that particular case(s) will be listed in the daily cause list. 10] The Daily Cause list of Fresh Cases shall be published in
following manner:- [a] The fresh cases registered on Monday will
be listed on Wednesday. [b] The fresh cases registered on Tuesday
will be listed on Thursday. [c] The fresh cases registered on Wednesday
will be listed on Friday. [d] The fresh cases registered on Thursday
will be listed on Monday. [e] The fresh cases registered on Friday and Saturday will be
