In the exercise of powers conferred by sub rule (1) of rule 5 of the Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006 (as amended from time to time) and in view of the directions of Hon’ble the Supreme Court in its order dated 04.01.07 passed in C.A. 1867/06 (Malik Mazhar Sultan and another V/s U.P. Public Service Commission & ors.), the High Court of Chhattisgarh notifies the anticipated vacancies in respect of District Judge(Entry Level) as under:-

I.

a)

By Promotion in accordance with Rule 5(1)(a)


10 posts

b)

By promotion through limited competitive examination in accordance with Rule 5(1)(b)


02 posts

c)

By direct recruitment from the Bar in accordance with Rule 5(1)(c)

08 posts (Including 2 posts& treated as “unreserved” from the vacancy of ST category of recruitment Year 2012 remained unfilled after re-advertised recruitment process and declared unreserved under proviso to Rule-6 (1) of the C.G.H.J.S. Rules, 2006; and 2 posts treated as reserved for ST candidates from the unfilled vacancies of recruitment Year 2013 in ST category.)
