Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur, with effect from 17-01-2005 till further orders :

NOTE:
1. Matter
which on account of exception cannot be listed before Single Bench-I may be
listed before Single Bench-II and vice versa and exception made by Single
Bench-III may be listed before Single Bench-IV. Matter which can not be listed
before Single Bench-IV may be listed before Single Bench-V and vice versa.
2. When
Single Bench-I is not functioning, fixed date cases and such other cases of
Single Bench-I, may be listed before Single Bench-II at the direction of Single
Bench-II and vice versa.
3. When
Single Bench-III is not functioning, fixed date cases and such other cases of
Single Bench-III, may be listed before Single Bench-IV at the direction of
Single Bench-IV and vice versa.
4. When
Single Bench-V is not functioning, fixed date cases and such other cases of Single Bench-V may be listed before Single
Bench-IV at the direction of Single Bench-IV
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Where a
subsequent bail application on the same subject is filed, it shall be placed
before the same Judge, who had passed earlier orders, if same Hon’ble Judge, if
available to sit singly.
2. M.C.Cs.
for restoration shall be placed before the Bench (Single & Division as
well) dealing with the subject as per current roster.
3. Contempt
Petition (Civil) required to be heard and decided by a Single Bench, shall be
listed before the Judge who passed the Judgment/ Order alleged to have been
disobeyed and in case of non-availability of the Judge who passed the Judgment
/ Order, before the Single Bench dealing with the original proceedings of
similar nature as per the current Roster.
4. Contempt
proceedings required to be heard and decided by a Division Bench shall be
listed before the Division Bench which passed the Judgment/ Order alleged to
have been disobeyed or before a Division Bench of which one of the members was
also the member of the Division Bench which passed the Judgment / Order, and in
case of non-availability of both the members of the Division Bench which passed
the Judgment/Order, before a Division Bench dealing with original proceedings
of similar nature, as per current Roster.
5. Contempt
Petition (Civil) registered upon a reference made by a Subordinate Court to the
High Court shall be listed before the Hon’ble Judge hearing M.C.Cs.
6. Held-up,
part-heard, old pending cases and cases pertaining to senior citizens shall be
listed on priority basis.
7. Tied up
and Special Bench cases shall be listed on every Friday and on any day as
Hon’ble the Chief Justice, may direct.
8. Notwithstanding
anything hereinbefore stated, Hon’ble the Chief Justice may, by a special or
general order, direct a particular case(s) or a particular class of cases to be
listed before a particular Bench.
